The Key Differences
REFORMER PILATES
Is for general fitness and flexibility and is usually done in a group setting. Instructors have generally only completed short training courses.
CLINICAL PILATES
Is client-specific. Fully qualified instructors plan sessions specifically for each clients needs. It's great for people with back pain, pre/post surgery, pre/post natal. Athletes, dancers and those just wanting to improve their movement patterns, balance and general long term health.
MEET AMY
CLINICAL PILATES INSTRUCTOR
Amy’s goal is to help build strong and pain free bodies by helping people move through proper movement patterns and have a higher quality life. Coming from a dancing and sporting background, Amy has always had an interest in how people move and correcting their technique. Amy has been in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and fitness instructor for 10 years and teaching Pilates for 7.

MEET JESS
CLINICAL PILATES INSTRUCTOR
Jess’s journey into the world of movement began with Pilates, where she studied Pilates with PITC in Sydney. This paved the way for her subsequent role with the Australian Army Soldier Recovery Unit in Darwin, where she applied her expertise to aid in the rehabilitation and recovery of servicemen and women. In addition to her Pilates expertise, Jess is a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist and Yoga Instructor, bringing another dimension to her holistic approach to wellness. Her understanding of the body's mechanics allows her to incorporate various methods into her practice, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client she works with.
Jess’s Qualifications:
Diploma Professional Pilates Instruction (Pilates International Training Centre, Sydney)
Diploma Remedial Massage (Nature Care College, Sydney)
Yoga YTT 400 hours (Shades of Yoga, Bali)
STUDIO PRICING
For those new to Pilates or undergoing injury rehabilitation or managing a chronic condition, we suggest considering a Private Session. Pilates is often likened to learning a new language, and we want to ensure that you receive personalised guidance to effectively apply our instructions to your body's needs.
If you're open to transitioning to semi-private sessions, we're supportive of that choice as well. Feel free to discuss your preferences with your instructor, who can provide personalised recommendations based on your experience level.
